Managing distractions – Effectively recognising and minimising interruptions.
Some ways to manage your distractions:
- set yourself a goal
- break the activity into smaller goals
- write yourself a checklist and cross things off as you go
- move away from the distraction and find a quiet place
- know when you need a break and take one
- give yourself a reward when you've reached a goal
- do the trickiest thing first
- tell others that you need to concentrate.
