Social intelligence

Is exploring different types of social and independent learning.

Developing the skills needed to build positive relationships with others.

Social Intelligence looks and sounds like:

  • I was accountable for my contributions to the people I was learning with.
  • I used respectful conflict resolution strategies.
  • I respected my own and other people's needs/interests/individuality when learning together.
  • I used competition/collaboration/co-operation to learn with others.
  • I considered my body language, tone of voice and expressions and their impact on others.
  • I asked for help from someone.
  • I acknowledged the contributions and support of others.
  • I helped others to stay on track.
  • I knew when it was best for me to work alone.
  • I shared an idea with the group that helped everyone learn more.
